Hey guys, sorry for taking so long to respond, unexpected events happened this holiday and there is unfortunately going to be a delay.


And we are going to delay the update until it meets our standard of quality.


We don't have an exact date but are aiming for an early 2024 release.


We are going back and re-working a bunch of content + ideas we were getting ready to release on the holidays. (Plus a bunch of "quality of life" changes to the base game.)


Apologies again for setting a release date we weren't ready to deliver on. >_<"


We'll be hard at work these next few weeks!


Oh and a happy belated holidays + New Years to you all! :D

Hey everybody, hope you are all having a great holiday month so far! :D


We wanted to give a quick update on the development for the Bleek Christmas Update.


( + ) Development is consistent and slowly we are making some good progress!


( + ) The new enemy designs, animations and logic are coming along great!


( + ) And we recently added in the new power-ups!


( + ) Also, there have been many quality of life changes + updates to the base version of the current game!


( - ) Unfortunately, with Christmas rapidly approaching (10 days! Where does the time go!? :O ), we are not going to have everything we originally planned ready by then.


( - ) However, since we still plan on releasing an update before Christmas, we will split the update into 2 parts. (Before Christmas and then in early 2024.)


( - ) And we are pushing the first update release date to December 24 instead of December 18 - 20. (We are cutting it close but we need the extra time.)


We were hoping to have everything ready by Christmas; however, we want to make sure you receive the best quality game we can offer.


Anyways, hope you have a great holiday month and looking forward to seeing you all play the new update once it drops! :D

AND HAS ASCENDED INTO THE "LEGENDARY GAMES" SECTION! ( WHAT!?!? :O )


We have no words to say but thank you for everyone that has played the game, left great feedback and continue to support the game! :D


It is an honor to be placed here among other amazing games! And we hope our future games + updates can be just as fun and engaging!


And shoutout to @TomFulp and the NG Team for doing awesome work + providing this opportunity! :D

Hey, it's been a while since the last post (trying to get into a more consistent posting schedule) but just wanted to give a quick update on the Bleek game!


UPDATED STUFF:


A bunch of tweaks have been made to the game:


  • Added some better collision tracking for Violette, the ghost enemies and enemy projectiles
  • Added visual representation of hit boxes for Violette, the ghost enemies and projectiles


These changes will make the game feel more "2.5D" than before.


And some small bug fixes here and there.


NEW STUFF:


Currently, we have 3 - 4 new enemy types animated and working (mostly) at an acceptable level.


And we'll begin working on another batch of enemies once we finish playtesting + difficulty balancing.


Also, we are planning out something that I wanted to add on the initial version... boss fights! >:D (More info to come once they are developed!)


Christmas Update Scope:

  • 2 more levels
  • 2 additional groups of enemies (1 group for each level)
  • 3 boss fights (1 boss for each level)
  • 4 new power-ups
  • HUB world (To choose between levels.)
  • And a few goodies/ secrets that we will leave up to the player to figure out! ;3


And more medals, of course. :P


It is a tall order, but we are developing at a good pace!

Wow.


10,000+ plays on the Bleek game in about a week! You all are awesome! :D



And 100+ fans reached on the account. We are absolutely floored, thank you! :)


This gives us the strength and determination to continue updating this game + working on some other game ideas we are cooking up!


We hope you all stay along for the ride. This is only the beginning! >:D

Hello there!


Just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for everyone that has played the "Bleek" game and has provided some great feedback.

And another thank you for the contributors that helped take this game to the next level. ("Stixdude" for his awesome art + helping improve the code and "Legobuzz12" for providing some sweet tunes to the game.)


It has been a dream of mine since I was a kid to get a game on the frontpage of Newgrounds. :D


Happy to see all of the hard work paying off! (All this feedback is truly motivating.)


More updates + additional content coming soon! (Er... "soon-ish" lol)
