Hey, it's been a while since the last post (trying to get into a more consistent posting schedule) but just wanted to give a quick update on the Bleek game!
UPDATED STUFF:
A bunch of tweaks have been made to the game:
- Added some better collision tracking for Violette, the ghost enemies and enemy projectiles
- Added visual representation of hit boxes for Violette, the ghost enemies and projectiles
These changes will make the game feel more "2.5D" than before.
And some small bug fixes here and there.
NEW STUFF:
Currently, we have 3 - 4 new enemy types animated and working (mostly) at an acceptable level.
And we'll begin working on another batch of enemies once we finish playtesting + difficulty balancing.
Also, we are planning out something that I wanted to add on the initial version... boss fights! >:D (More info to come once they are developed!)
Christmas Update Scope:
- 2 more levels
- 2 additional groups of enemies (1 group for each level)
- 3 boss fights (1 boss for each level)
- 4 new power-ups
- HUB world (To choose between levels.)
- And a few goodies/ secrets that we will leave up to the player to figure out! ;3
And more medals, of course. :P
It is a tall order, but we are developing at a good pace!
